Tree branches

Well I have been searching and couldn't find out what I wanted to know so I thought someone here may know.I have some branches from a Eucalyptus that have no leaves or anything but I wasn't sure if it would be safe or not to use for my snake.

I used a bare treated eucalyptus branch for my Bibrons gecko for the a year & 1/2 w/ no negative affects, so, they should be safe for snakes. What type of snake?

If it will fit in the oven cook it for an hour or so. I've done it with many branches and it works well. It will kill anything that may be on it.
