like how do you keep them at such low temps constenly?

Here in Ohio, my basement gets cold enough in the winter to do the trick. Probably a few degrees warmer than ideal, especially for some species. But it cycles my ratsnakes pretty good.

thanks, but that wont work for me. i live in a spilt level house.

I only cool my rattlesnake but I just put her in the garage. Its insulated and never gets to cold here, might dip down into the 20's once in a while but it normally stays in the low 50's in the garage. That's always worked for me.
