Dude..she can only be impregnated by one male. That's like saying "Hey..if me and my buddy have sex with this chick she'll have babies from each of us!"

Boas can have babies from many males...even the male you used the previous year.....the sperm is collected by the female and at time of ovulation the female fertilizes the eggs. Andy

Generally speaking (w/o fertility drugs, etc), human females release one egg per cycle. Boas fertilize many eggs per pregnancy.

The human comparison is almost completly without relevency.

Wow, Caden ... I never imagined that you came from a litter?

Sorry about that ... it must be one of those Mondays.

Off to the airport.

Bill~

Do you think that guy really thought I was referring to my mhuman family as having litters? OMG I can't stop laughing!

For clarity I have:
0.3 colombian sisters with one having a different father than the other 2 all 3 from the same mother in the same litter. Is that clear?

Caden

P.S My mom will have a litter over this one : )

Shawn Morelan of Southern Boids had a litter last year where he had Sunglows and Snows in the same litter from two different fathers.

Here at Southernboids we had a split litter last year.

I used a DH Snow female and had 2 males..1 DH Snow and another DH Sunglow.

I could not make up my mind which to use so I put both in at different times and we had a litter that had both Snow and Sunglows proving it is possible - at least with boas - to have 1 female father a litter from two fathers.

Boy what a happy day that was!!

In the picture you can see a Snow that came out first then the Sunglow after.

It happened to me one time when a mongrel jumped my fence after i had bred her 2 days later... some of the puppies were purebred and some were mutts.. I kept them all until they were over a year old.
