Snapping Jaw

I'm a little worried about my Ornate boxie Hat. This sometimes happens when he eats really fast: He just finished eatings some crickets and now he's standing in the corner opening and closing his mouth. When it closes I hear aloud "snap!" and it never goes away. He's been doing this for about 30 minutes now and always there is the snap. He doesn't seem to be in pain and is basking under his heat lamp. Should I be concerned at all?

Ok my Shell E did this once. She's a noisy eater to begin with so while she's eating & I hear noises I don't think anything of it.
Once though I kept hearing it over & over long after she'd eaten her food. I took a close look at her & saw a tiny peice of something sticking out of her mouth. I grabbed some hemostats & started tugging on it & a huge chunk of insect exoskeleton came out. She was making the sound because she couldn't swallow that piece.
You might try opening Hat's mouth & see if there is anything stuck in it.
