Sammie, and the one next to her (short memory LOL) always exibit that yellowish orange marking still! Sammie looks mammoth!!!! They all look awesome Eve. You were holding out on me, making me think you were ignoring me again. I thought you found out what I said about you ;O) Just kidding.
Thanks so much. I get to missing them sometime, but know they are in so much better hands being inside with you. Maybe someday when I get a pen again, I'll have some more lizards...get busy with those breeding projects! I'd love to see Kong breed with all of those girls...or Kiowa. Better yet...even Chili ;O)
I got nervous about Spice. I think she caught a cold or something. For several days she would not eat or drink.
Her tail got very think like when they are days from death. Her tail was so dehydrated that it was sinking in on the sides. I had some BOOST...it's like the Ensure drinks. I gave her about 20 drops of this about three times a day, and it loaded her up. She started eating again about 2 weeks after this and is regaining her weight. I was nervous she was going to go off eating for winter and I would not be able to recover her. She seems to be on the right track now...hopefully. You know how you never know for sure.
That said, I will be feeding them for several weeks longer than planned before letting them hibernate this year.
