Keeping baby leos

Finnigan Aug 06, 2003 09:38 PM

Just to share ... this is how I keep baby leos.

I keep babies individually in setups that look like this. There are the 2 ceramic hides, a humid hide (top right) and a water bowl and calcium bowl. The food bowl is put in at night. The top part (ceramic hide and humid hide) go over 3" heat tape when slid into the rack.

The rack can hold up to 20 containers, but, obviously, some real estate will have to be cleared up.

Each level is heated with 3" heat tape (or will be!)

Hope it doesnt lead to back problems (for you). Just kidding, i have a rack that has low shelves like that also. I bet your little hatchings are happy as could be in that setup. Good luck, and keep the pics comin!
