Well, I suppose your asking this question after buying one rather than before. An expensive and rare animal to be messing with unprepaired.

They do well when kept in the low 70's overall with a warmer(80) basking spot. Keep the cage very wet with a smaller dry area for a refuge if the snake desires. They like to eat f/t rats or chick.

Just in case...
Most Zoo's that keep this species stock Taiwanese Pit Viper A/V for this snake. It's just a good guess if it will actually be effective against the venom, since no species specific A/V exsists.

How could you aquire a species as rare as Mangshanensis without knowing how to care for it first? The amount of time spent just tracking down the animal has to have given you enough time to exhaust every resource available on the internet.
