I have a Cal king with a small skin problem, looks like a drying up or scab thing on her scales. Does anyone have an idea of what this might be or how I can help this. Thanks for your respones.

could be several things. Can you post a pic?
I cant post any pics at this time, will try to get some up soon. Its towards the middle lower half of her body and shows to small bumps towards the tail, with a few spots that look scaby. Have any ideas on what I can do to help it? Should I take her to the vet?
Get an antbacterial creme first and see if that works. I use anti-fungal creme for athletes foot you can buy at the market or drug store.
Treat small skin abrasions- scrapes or rubs- with topical antibiotic, such as Neosporin, or even just with a protectant and moisture sealant such as Vaseline.
Each shed it should be getting smaller until it disappears, maybe 2-5 sheds. If the spots are growing or become obviously infected into the snake's body, then yes, go to the vet.
I have wondered if cyano-acrylics ie super-glue have ever been tried as wound sealant/protectant, or are they too inflexible?
