In Anehiem that was the asking price for single animals male and female.

I just got done paying a little more then that for my girl, who will be here at the Expo this weekend. I picked her up from Rainbow Boas and she was breed by Pete Kahl so I am confident in her qualities.

I always wanted one when they first started showing up but they were mucho $$$ so when they finally started to drop I jumped on a nice one I found

I got the albino on order from here: http://www.qualityrainbowboas.com/ which can be located on this site.

Not sure what I was thinking, just tired I guess.

Pretty Good Chance of it,they have to drop pretty soon because the market wont support that many 4 digit morphs. Not so sure "Big Sale" would be the right term to use,but the market will not be the same this time two years from now.

Just look at Ghosts, what was it just a few years ago when they where $2000 and now you can find them for $500....And I would imagine that all those people who jumped on the wagon to produce Sunglows will have a Bunch of Normal Albinos too...Its Bound to come down in price...thats the Rollercoaster we call the Morph World..Gotta Love it..Ride it while you can..

I'll bet you'll be able to get them even cheaper than that if you don't mind them wearing a pirate's patch over one eye!

I noticed that in the "ballpython" section. The NORMAL female balls prices are really high. With all the new morph in balls, i guess the demand for adult female ball is alot higher.

I am wondering if we will ever goin to have wide range of morph in boa like the ballpythons. Morph like pieboa and clowns..you get my point. I think by then, our normal boa will worth something.

I waited 3 years for my first albino boa. I paid $600 for mine compare to what it is back then. As for then sunglow, last year they were $5000-6000. Today 2000. Next year goin to be around 1200ish or maybe less; lowest 1000.

this year , i doubt they will drop much more in the next year. But what do i know about morphs ? I just remember when albino boas were like $2500 , then dropped and then stayed at about $1000 to $1200 for a very good while. I hope the sunglows stay well up there for a good while as well.. Koky

of coarse you and everyone else thats payed into the Sunglow thing.Problem is many got in to late and are now right on the edge of either getting "paid" or recoupeing invested funds.
That latter are surely to be disappointed.
The herp game is steadly gaining speed and everyone thinks they are in the drivers seat.Pick any morph go back three years and you can confirm when the decline begins.
Pick any hobby for cash return and they "ALL" tell the same story.

Fulltime Employment is far more secure then keeping up with the Jones' in the Herp World.
IMO many people need to get this clue.

I would like the snakes to retain some value in the future Not like the corn snakes and kingsnake morphs that went from thousands to $50 - $60

I just looking forward to own it for the beauty and not to make profit. I love the color. People lost the true value of having a boa now a day. So sad.

I saw some deals in daytona for albinos in the $350 range from several different breeders. cash talks and when there are 100's of other breeders out there, well you still have to pay the light bill and I know I'd rather pay it with snake money than work money. Rare morphs will always fetch the top dollar and exceptional animals from established morphs will to, but every morph is going to drop in price over the years, it's just the way it is.
