my personal opinion is to forget the books and stick with more current online info. I have a few books and the only I one I really reference in on Panther chams, bu that was when I first got him - now I might sell on eBay! lol!

Sites like Chameleonnews.com, adcham, chamjournals and other forums are more reliable. See link in my sig. for sites.

Chamnews may have some reviews of books - I know I saw it somewhere...

I am the opposite. I mostly dislike depending on the internet. I find books very useful- especially those concerning reptile medicine.

I guess the best one is 'chameleons,nature's hidden jewels' by Peter Necas.Stay with the internet too though,in my expierience you cannot do with out it.

that you are right in medical info (so long as it is current) and recommend "Understanding Reptile Parasites" by Klingenberg

I totally agree about "Understanding Reptile Parasites". It's inexpensive in paperback and invaluable if you keep reptiles. The Merck Veterinary Manual (available online) is also very helpful for self-treatment and illness management. Diane
