Is there any sure way to tell a salmontine from a regular
salmon/hypo?
Speckling, short tails, belly color?
I've got a nice hypo & I'd like to know if has argentine
relatives before designating her as my breeder....

I know salmontines are more speckly than other hypos, but not sure if that is what you have. I have a hypo who has no argentine blood and he has some darker speckling too. I can't for the life of me find a good photo of a salmontine right now though. Still looking to see if I can find one for you.
