Lots of water usually does the trick for mine.
Over supplementing can cause constipation so can dehydration.

How old is he? If he's just recently mature he could be feeling hormones and be feeling pissy towards everything. I've had chams go a week without defecating due to dehydration and/or too many superworms or waxworms. Also, if you vary the size of crix and offer more smaller ones it helps too. Sometimes basking sessions outside in direct sunlight will get things going. The darker color isn't really a sign of constipation, it is a sign that something is stressing him. Any new animals or activity around the cage?

if it gets bad and he doesn't poo for a long time, you can try taking a brush, and putting some olive oil on the back of a cricket, or you can try a warm shower for about 30 minutes, or if your cham eats veggies and fruits, try some pears.

well im not here during the day to view his cage, but the cat likes to watch the crickets that free roam, he has been on his top vine alot lately, not venturing down to the bottom much, where b4 he would do like laps, whish i could get a pic of him at rest, he's orange and white, anyway, he's about 5 months old at the most. but thank for the help, i'll keep you posted.

If you want to keep him from getting constipated you must keep him hydrated.
