ball python bedding rack ?

i know many people use pine boards to build thier reptile racks, my ? is why is it ok to use pine boards.,plywood for racks but your not suppose to use it for bedding. thanks kyle

Because your ball python cant ingest the pine board, it can however ingest the shavings which have harmful chemicles in them.
