This guy is from a joint project between Ryan Norris and myself. We bred a nice yellow Sumatran male to my yellow Sumatran female "Buttercup" and got a rather odd looking clutch. Several were held back, but most were quite dark and unremarkable. Not what we hoped for. This guys colors and contrast are very sharp. He is dark but only around his dorsal pattern. He is beautiful, but he really makes me think of high yellow Borneo at first glance. It will be interesting to see his color change. Another sibling is fairly yellow and lacks the great contrast and the very dark dorsal pattern.
