Hi Guys
I am new to this board and beardies.
I already have a large 4'x8' enclosur in the livingroom of our home. It is a winter cage for my two small 6' and 10' leopard
tortoises. I was wondering if my 2 new adult beardies could share the same cage . They have the same rquirements for heat and food and light and newapapper for the substrate. I was thinking of putting some large branches in there for the dragons to bask on and for an area that the tortoises could not get to.
My only concern is for the transfer of diaeses form feces contact and not sure if that is realy a valid concern?
As the tortoises and beardies are both captive raised reptiles with no kown health issues.
I have them togeather now and feeding and interaction seems fine.
What is your opinion?????????

Thanks MoblMec

I've seen iguanas and tortoises housed together with no probems. There might be territory disputes, but I think Beardies might just register a tortoise as a moving rock. a good place to bask.
