What's your preference?

Djinn Nov 02, 2006 11:45 AM

Hello folks~
I'm curious about your preference on tub size for baby racks. Six quart or 12 quart?
The six quart tubs are cheap, and you can fit many of them in a small space, but they are pretty small. It seems like a baby Boa would outgrow a six quart pretty quickly. Would a baby be able to live in a six quart for a year, with weekly feedings? It seems too small to me. What are your thoughts?

Thanks for any feedback!

It depends on your intentions really. If your producing boas and simply need a place to seperate them after being born, and get them feeding before offering them for sale, the smaller tubs are fine. If your getting a rack to raise boas in, a 6qt. is a waste of time IMO. You can get a baby boa to outgrow a 28qt. tub in a year, so anything less is definitely going to be too small in a normal situation. Hope that helps a little, take care

Paul
