Is this a morph?????

JJ_Snakes Nov 02, 2006 02:52 PM

Hello all,
I hatched out my first group of ball pythons and this is 2 of the girls I got! The mother was light phased and the males I bred to her was a spider and a pastel. Yet, look at the pictures..... I know that one was a normal but what is the other? Is she just a light phased normal? Any advice would be appreciated!
Sincerely,
John

My one female looked like that when she was little now at 1200 grams she is a really high gold and lots bright yellow going up her sides. Every time she sheds she gets brighter and more intence color..

Awesome! Thanks for sharing! I hope the same is true with this one. Have you bred her yet and if so how do her babies look?

God bless,
John

looks like a "light normal" to me, but I would definitely be keeping that one if it was a female. Appearance of females affect appearance of babies, so a nice light and clean female would definitely produce nicer hypos, pastels, etc.

If half the babies turn out light like the female and the other half appear 100% normal, I would "dink" around with it, just in case it's co-dom.

Just my opinion.

Regards,
Bristen.
