Now, let me ask this..is this supposed to be an albino form of Bimaris or Vertebralis?

Hello, thank you for asking. Please understand that I must exclude certain details, at least for now.

1994- Bought a 1.0 Bimaris at the IRBA show in San Diego.

1995- Obtained a wild caught 0.1 Bimaris from just northeast of El Rosario, BC Norte. This is the (in my opinion) extreme edge of the intergradation point of Annec./Bim. This was a high red/orange female.

1996- Bred them.

1999- Bred the offspring. Clutch of 4. 3 hatched and 1 did not. That egg (of course) contained a beautiful but very dead albino. Since that day I cut all my eggs.

2002- Produced one male albino and you have seen his picture.

2004- Produced 2 hets.

2005- Produced 2 hets.

2006- Produced 11 hets and 8 albinos.

I Hope this helps for now.

Kevin

Nice lookin' Gopher. How long/old is he? Just trying to get an idea for ages and breeding sizes of males.

Hello again, The albino daddy hatched in 2002. He was the first live born albino (I will tell the whole story later, it is pretty interesting). He is approx 42 inches. He was a weak breeder at 2 years old/32 inches and 3 years old/36 inches. This year he exploded and bred to his mom, aunt and sister and produced clutches of 7, 7 and 6. 19 hatched live with 11 hets and 8 albinos. I have not sexed them yet. Too nervous.
