Polyester?

Orocosos Nov 02, 2006 06:11 PM

I've wrapped some artificial ivy with polyester cord for my Cal king to climb on, and I'm letting it air out so that the smell will go away. Is polyester toxic to snakes?

Carpet, clothing and numerous other products are polyester based. Baby changing stations in public bathrooms are sometimes polyester, I believe.

It should be safe, but it does need to offgass. If it smells, I'd let it air out away from the cage if you can.
