Is Kale a good staple green?
I heard it was a great green to offer to my ornate and my beardeds.
Is this true or should I switch to something else?
I cant find any collard, turnip or mustard greens around here.
thanks

It's not the greatest, but better than some. Good calcium to phosphorus ratio, but noted for oxalates and goitrogens. Can you find dandelion, curly endive, or escarole? Those are all excellent staple choices.

I've heard some negative reports of feeding lizards Kale or Spinach regularly. Calcium binding and such.
I'd do a bit of research before making it a staple in your lizard's diet, just to be certain.
