I noticed in the photos of your snake room that you have an oil filled radiant heater. Is this your only source of heat? I am setting up my garage and want to find a good way to keep it at around 85. Any ideas?

We use it to maintain heat, the rooms stay around 80ish. We also use heat tape for hot spots that runs through the back of our caging. We do have a few racks that heat is not ran to for a few species that prefer it a little cooler. During breeding season we use temp drops pluged into the helix that run 90 % of the racks. The heaterS work great though, we have had them for about 4 years and they never have given us a problem, We currently have 3 that are running and they heat all 3 rooms (around 1000sq ft ). There is actually a regulator that you can purchase from Ace Hardware that turns the heaters almost into a helix so to say. Its a temp regulator that controls how warm yoUr room gets using the heater instead of heat tape
