Salmon and Hypo question.

redemberreptiles Nov 03, 2006 03:07 AM

I have looked through the forums and other sites. I might have over looked it or just haven't found it. So here's my question that has me quite confused.
What exactly is the difference between salmon and hypo boas? I have been told that salmon boas are their own individual color mutation as well as hypo boas. But then I have seen numerous posts and ads for salmons (aka hypo) or hypo (aka salmon). Are they the same mutation or are they completely different? Any answers or links to the answers i'm looking for will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you-

All salmons are hypos but all hypos are not salmons. Salmon is the name given to one strain of hypos.

You're welcome. When writing the post I kept trying to remember the other main strain of hypos, I think they are just referred to as "orange-tails"
