Show off the best snake you have........

swich Nov 03, 2006 11:04 AM

Hi there,
Thanks to all who posted in last weeks "show off your new morphs" thread, but now SHOW OFF THE BEST BALL YOU OWN! It could be about its color, pattern, morph, combo of morphs, its significance in your breeding program, or because its like 15 years old and you have had it since it hatched. Whatever the reason is, just show it off. What is the #1 Ball python in your life?, and dont forget to tell us why!
Thanks

swich

This is my male Genetic Stripe. He is one of my favorites, and might be my favorite today, but tomorrow, or in an hour, it might be something else.

This is a hatchling from this past season.

This guy is my favorite ball python. He has a really clean look, feeds with the passion of a retic, and he is just a fun snake to keep. Something about spiders.........they are just plain cool.

YES, FINALLY, someone who takes worse pics than I do! Thanks man

Nice snake though! Gotta love the G Stripes.

LOL... this one's very active. Can't get her to sit still for very long. She'll sit for a short time, then decide to suddenly take off and check something out. She has a very curious nature.

Here's pic of another one of our Gentic Stripes...

Nice. I used to think G Stripes were kind of boring, that they all looked the same, but I have since changed my thinking. (Maybe I thought that because I could not afford one Anyways, there does seem to be quite a bit of variation in them. Yours have no side pattern at all, mine does. I think mine wins the prize for most breaks in his stripe too, but I think the breaks add character. If I get a female G Stripe one day, I will get a textbook G Stripe, but I really am glad I got this male. He is flawless, eats great, and I love the cryptic look.

They're all wonderful creatures. Great personalities. Yes, mine are nice and produced from Bob Clark's original hets. But the variations in G Stripes make them all unique and special.

With out a doubt - Anakin is our favorite snake - after 20 years of keeping balls - the Angolans stole my heart.

As far as best Ball - I'd say either Fluffy who is a really sweet normal or Morty who is just so gorgeous ....

Nice pics! Angolans are at the top of my wish list, right after I find a female Moluccan to go with my male.

I love her because she has a vibrant clean pattern to her and some beautiful white flames. In person she has a purple sheen to her.

Or.....
This het yellow ghost female that almost looks like a ghost but isnt. Shes just het.....as far as I know.?? Im breeding a ghost to her this year. Pic #1 is her next to female sib. Pic#2 shes next to a dark ball for contrast comparison.

Something special going on with her genes maybe?????? Could be something else hidden!
