Hi...i guess you are all tired of "snake not eating" silly questions....but if i donīt ask i will never learn.
I have a female sinaloan just under 3 feet long...She has always eaten irregularly since i got her....i mean...she eats a lot for a month....then spends the next one in a bad mood and refuses to eat.
During august she ate a damn lot....she always wanted more. But then she shed and started eating normally. She shed again and hasnīt eaten since then. Itīs been a month since she last ate...iīve tried mice parts(she usually gets excited by the scent of blood), live mice....different sizes...and nothing...
I tried a large pinkie and she seemed interested....she bite it but then left and didnīt eat it...
At first i didnīt worry since itīs cold here and she may be just going to the winter phase.....but now i want her to eat...she is not losing weight and iīm not worried for her health....but if i could manage her to eat it would be great...any help??
thanx.

(sorry if the post is stupid)

Temps, size cage, humidity, etc? How do you feed her? In a separate feeding tank or in her regular cage?

It could definitely be that she is going into her winter brumation period, or it could be internal parasites. Have you ever had a fecal done on her?

Temps are about 31šC. It varies between 28-33 though...i canīt fix it to be regular...damn thermostat..need a better one.
Humidity is around 50%....itīs the ambient humidity here.
Her tank is a 60 L glass aquarium. I use shredded coconut as bedding and i feed her in the tank. Iīve tried feeding her outside but she has never shown any interest once she is out.

Iīve never done her a fecal test....maybe i should...she is captive bred and was supossed to be fully checked when i bought her. But iīll take her to the vet if you think that could be the reason.

Instead of spending the amount for an office visit and a fecal, sometimes vets will run a fecal for a cheaper price.

My conversion chart says that 35C is 95F, so you might want to drop the temps a bit to see if that helps. I assume that you have two appropriate sized hides in there with her? And a cool side?

yup...two hides.in the opposite sides. She moves a lot between them.
The only problem is....how do i get a fecal if she is empty?? she has nothing inside....how am i going to get a fecal if she hasnīt eaten?
