Pueblan Milksnake Question

ucsda Nov 03, 2006 05:01 PM

I have recent thoughts of getting a very nice looking baby pueblan at a petland nearby here, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about their tempermant as they are young and when they are older.....thanks for your time.

they are pretty nervous and prone to musking. Plus they are incredible escape artists, since they are so skinny. As adults, they are better, but still pretty flighty.

I've been working with Pueblans for over 10 years and agree completely - they don't like being handled as babies and don't become as calm as some other types of milks (Hondurans, Mexican, Nelson's) as adults.
