If you really want an honest answer....first, they wouldn't want to breed with eachother. Cross species breeding rarely happens in the wild as most species perfer to mate with their own kind. Some wolves will mate with domesticated dogs and maybe vice versa. As for iquanas and bearded dragons, they are separate species altogether and are not related close enough. For one thing the average dragon length is about 2 feet. Average length of a green iquana is something like 5 feet. Right there cross breeding them would be very difficult and ceratinly not something either would do willingly.
If for some strange reason a bearded dragon and a green iquana did mate....their genetics may be off enough that no fertile eggs would ever come to term. A male bearded dragon would have an exremely difficult time to get an iquana gravid anyway and I would hate to be the poor female bearded dragon being attacked by a full grown 5' plus male green iquana..he would most likely rather eat her than mate with her.
So there you have it, the reasons why these two speces cannot interbreed. It's against their nature, they are no where near the same size and genetically incombatable.

...they might try, but it just ain't happenin'! LOL!

Look what I've done with my male water dragon and female BD! I've succesfully "bred" them. Now all I need to do is find a semi arboreal, rainforest/desert habitat... Hmm... That should be about as easy as the breeding, so NO PROBLEM!
My next project is breeding my boas to my tree frogs. I can't wait to see what the eggs look like! (Hopefull the frog will survive the first date)
(Sorry... couldn't help myself)

That is great, but the poeple will still try! Maybe they should work on their own genetics??? scott
