why are my retics doin this?

I have 2 babies..and i feed them in seperate containers..and lately..what they do..is attack the f/t mouse right away..but they constrict and then they just leave it alone..and i leave them for hours but they wont eat them?whats wrong with them?ALso,they live in the same enclosure..but feed in different

I will assume they are frozen. My Burm use to do this, my Emerald does this and my Retic did it when he was a baby. The problem is that the food is not warm enough. They hit is wrap it and then realize its not warm and don't want it. For my Emerald I have to warm it up under a red heat light, but the burm I use to warm it in a plastic bag, in a warm bucket of water, and then the food was warm to the touch. If it is live food your snakes may not be hungry.
