I've really enjoyed looking at the Suri pics you've been posting lately. Some gorgeous animals!

Thanks for taking notice. If you haven't guessed I have been trying to get a pair of them started even though the female is borderline as far as size goes this season. I have been trying to accumulate the best examples I can of specific looks that I enjoy in Suriname boas (extremely difficult because the adults and subs that are anywhere near high end [in my eyes] usually aren't being sold). I am pretty satisfied for the time being that if this pair isn't ready this season I should have two pairs ready by this time next year and that the mix of genetics for what I have will spit out some screamers. You have some of the nicer suris I have seen and one of these days I will have to do some business with you. Thanks again for noticing the animals.

any plans on putting that male with the Dam of the '03 litter?

I don't think I bred any Suris in 03. Unfortunately, in a moment of weakness I sold both of these adults to a guy in Germany. At the time I was pretty fed up with all the ridiculous smack talk in the boa world, and was going to concentrate on pythons, a few amarali, and try to get a life. Plus the guy made me an offer that was pretty hard to turn down. Since I only breed my animals every two years, it seemed like an eternity before I could breed them again. But now that time has come and gone and I'm kicking myself. However I invested the money in in my retirement, so one day I will probably be glad. Plus, I have some pretty killer stuff ready to go this winter.

umm...what do I say.

Uh.

You do have some great Woma pythons, so I can see wanting to spend a little time there. Something inside of me is itching to start a bunch of small python projects, aspidites, angolans, gtps, maybe, just maybe some hybrids.

I thought I was in a different thread about Suris (I scaled way back on Suris a couple years ago). I do still have both of these Bolivian parents.

I was worried. I had noticed in your post you said you didn't have a Suri litter in '03, and I was wondering what that had to do with things. Okay, makes a little more sense now.

Sell all the Suri's you want to Europe, but keep these over here for us to play with!
