Pac-Man Frog not doing too Well

newtype00 Aug 07, 2003 12:23 AM

Hi Everyone, I have a question to ask. First of all my frog has not been doing too well he is about 4-5 inches in lenght from head to hind. What is wrong with it is that he looks like his sides are sagging. Usually he is more plump and firm looking, but now he looks like his sides are just drooping. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks, David

Have you fed him less than usual? Their sides stick out more and are firmer after a large feeding. Sometimes they have a thinner appearance after having a bowel movement; this is normal. If you have stressed the frog by picking it up or unburying it, it might have "squirted" urine as a defensive measure and this would make it appear much lighter and less plump. As long as you're following proper feeding and vitamin regimes, the frog should get chubbier with another feeding.

Mine does that, he'll get pretty fat after a significant feeding and once he digests and passes it, his skin looks pretty loose. It almost looks like old wrinkly skin. Thats when I know its times to feed him again.
