some one told me recently that you cant buy or sell 3 toes in florida
and that you can own only 2.
i know thats the law with florida box turtles but never herd that about 3 toes.

I believe the possession of any box turtles in florida is two. They don't distinguish between the subspecies.

A great deal of intergrades naturally occurs in the northern panhandle due to an overlapping of the various subspecies habitats.
