Female veiled

Is it common for a female veiled chameleon to get bratty when they start to get older because my girl was really sweet and would walk on my hand and be fine to be on me. but now she gapes her mouth and hisses at me she is about 2 months old now.

You asked..."Is it common for a female veiled chameleon to get bratty when they start to get older because my girl was really sweet and would walk on my hand and be fine to be on me. but now she gapes her mouth and hisses at me she is about 2 months old now"...I have seen veiled females become nicer and I have seen some become grumpier as they age. Most of them are grumpy when gravid....but yours is too young to fall into that category. She could still revert back to being nice. Who knows!

like the last guy said who knows seee thats the thing who knows may be you should stop touching and holding her for about a month so she can relax because maybe your putting to much stress on her when you play with her. or it could be that shes just like that all tho mine never hissed when i touched and holded her. she did try to get a way lol but never hissed or bit me so maybe just leave her a lone for a while and see what hapends. peace out
