Snake poop

How often do they go? Do they go on top of the aspen or under? We got him on the 10/23 - he has eaten 2 times (pinky once a week...is that correct?)....he drinks...20 gallon tank with UTH on one end (about 80 degrees)...he has not gone yet. Please let me know. Thanks.

Everything sounds good. They usually "go" a few days after eating. Mine go on And under the aspen. Guess it depends on where they are at the time.

In a tank that size with aspen, there's a pretty good chance that he's "gone" a time or two and you just don't know it. Since you are feeding pinks, I assume you got a baby. If he seems ready to eat 3 or 4 days after you have fed him, that's OK for the little ones. Most of their energy goes into growth and there's not much risk of your baby corn getting fat. Once he gets some size to him, once a week is great. My '06 hatchlings are now eating every 4-5 days unless they are in shed. Sounds like you have the setup under control. Some will tell you that a smaller tank is better for babies, but as long as there's plenty of places to hide, you should be fine. Duffy
