Now that it is getting cold my my humidity levels have dropped do to the extra heat! Will a warm air humidifier be of any help? I put one in the snake room to see if it will raise the humidity back up. I'm not sure if it will help in the cages. All my retics are housed in neodeshas with the small oval vents in them. I also mist them once or twice a day. Is there anything else I can do? I am sure this question has been asked before. And I thankyou for any advise you can give me.

Thanks DREW

you can try using water jugs with a wick in the lid... put'em in the cage and that will increase the humidity.

a room humdifier works good too.

Do you mean a candle type wick?

take a plastic milk carton... cut a hole in the lid... stuff a long peice of cotton through the hole...it so it can touch the bottom of the carton once the lid is on... fill with water and enjoy the humidity. : )

water will pull itself up through the cotton wick by cohesion/evaporation.

clear packing tape works best and is least noticable. Just tape off some of the ovals. I recommend the vents closest to the heat source, as heated air rises and in turn sucks out your air humidity as it goes. Leaving the cool end vents open will contain the humidity and temps more adequately.
You can also place his water bowl closer to the heat source thereby evaporating more into the air. Whether its more under the heat light or over the heat tape.
Hopefully these will allow you the least effort and expense in rectifying your humidity problems.
