06 Albino Emory, and a question.

Steve_Craig Nov 06, 2006 04:00 PM

I've always wanted an albino emoryi but have not got around to getting one because of their price. Well, I'm happy to say I got deal on this 06 male that I couldn't refuse. So now I have two normal females to go with this albino male. Looks like I have a good emoryi project in the works.
Question for you Jimmy, or anyone that else that knows. In a few years when I breed this albino male emoryi to one of my normal females, will that produce all normal babies het albino? Thanks in advance. Steve

Unless they, or the male amel, are also carrying another recessive trait then they will hatch out normal Emory's, het for amel...

and btw thats a real nice looking snake :*)

Hey Steve,
That is a beauty. Yeah the price of the albinos is pretty darn high.
It's great that you found a good deal.
And yes they will be normal het albino.
I got lucky to get my het albinos for as cheap as I did.
I will be producing albinos in a couple of years so we will have to do some trading to keep fresh blood in our emoryi albino lines!

Thanks Jimmy. Yes we'll have to trade some bloodlines in a few years. Also curious with your het albino emoryi. If you pair a male and female that are both het, are the end results the same? All normal babies het albino?
