You know life is good when.......

you're home for lunch and go in the snake room to check on things and find your jaw dropping at your own snakes!!

My summit Salmon was out of his hide and cruising the cage. He was looking fabulous. Had his best colors on display. I just had to drop everything and snap some quick pics. These two are a pretty good representation of his actual coloring. Of course in person, all the nuances show up and WOW!!

Unfortunately he would not hold still until I put him in his upside down hide. Life is good, not perfect.

Only post processing was cropping and resizing down to fit. No color adjustments or even sharpening done. Like I said, those pics are pretty close to the actual colors.

He was looking especially gorgeous today. Maybe one of the females is putting off some scent and that was his response?
