Is their any way to microchip a Tortoise? I havn't heard any instances where its been tried, but I would think it's possible though?

Yep I sure do. She's a sulcata, it was done about a year & a half ago when she weighed in the 40s. Vet said it was easy to do, the vet's assistant used a dog leash to pull her leg out so that the vet could get to the spot needed to inject the chip.
I was out of town & the tortoise was boarding, so I didn't get to see it being done.
When she got home I never could find the spot where it was injected, she's never had any problems at all from having it done.
We did it because we want every safety precaution that's available in case anything happens.
I know full well that not every one in the world would scan for a chip, but if some how she ever were lost or stolen then found she could be ID'd without a doubt.
Our dog is chipped too btw.
