This morning when I got up to get ready for work, I found 2 of the hatchling containers pushed out. I looked right away and found that one of my triple het hondo was gone!, I looked at the other box and one of my adults that I have brumating was in it. In that box was a female snow that I just got was gone also. I checked the containers that I have the adults in and found the one that she got out of. I must of not secured the lid good enough. Well I right away thought she ate both snakes since she has been brumating for about a month already.
I started to look for the 2 missing snakes, I looked in my closet and found the Triple het in some Walmart bags. No luck with the other one. I went to work thinking the cats are going to get it. I have Animal Plastic racks and I called them to ask if they had anything to keep the containers from being pushed out, well they do and I should be getting it very soon this week. I got home and started to look for the female snow and decided to look behing my dresser and there she was.
Now she is back in her box and getting warm, because she sure was cold since I do not heat the room at all.
Make sure the containers are secure so they do not get out.
