im wondering what incubator you guys would recomend from experience. I know there is always the hovabators. My friend has 1 he couldnt remember the name of but he thinks it was a gorilla or something and he said it was a little better then the hovabator because its temperature control was better then the dial. Well any input is very appreciated, and also a website where i can purchase your suggestion would be great to

I have found that there is a huge gap in incubator prices. There are the really cheapo hovabator types, which aren't that great. And then there are expensive labratory precision models.

I would recomend anyone who is at all handy build there own. A good incbator is not at all difficult. The most expensive part would be a quality thermostat.

go to a yard sale and buy one of those mini type refrigerators you see in hotels, use a helix thermostat with heat tape or mat et voila. If you want to get really tricky you can put a window in it like I did.

How do you get air circulation?

A computer fan, but for a small incubator with small clutches, or one big clutch, opening the door once a week works too. Depends upon how much effort you want to put into the design.

Ive used mine both ways, on Woma eggs, and had a fine hatch rate both times.
