I work for a nature center in New Jersey and yesterday we got a phone call about a large white snake dead wrapped around a tree branch. I went to take a look at it and found it was a 6 foot Albino Burmese Python...Yeah, in New Jersey, way out at the edge of the woods. Poor thing looked like it made its way up the branch to bask, hoping to warm up since its been so cold out. It's a shame its just been way to cold at night for it to even stand a chance. I'm guessing some moron released it. I wonder if he/she would appreciate sleeping outside for a few nights without anything to keep them warm? What an upsetting way to die.
People are stupid.
