I collect bleached skulls as useful drawing tools. A friend at the nature center gave this to me knowing that I would like it. It was from his horned frog that died last year of an undetermined illness, possibly Frog Wasting Disease, after a long life. It was quite a large male Cranwell. It really shows how their "teeth" are really not teeth at all, but a sharp, serrated edge for grasping food. The bones of this skull are much heavier than those of "lighter" frogs such as ranids.
