black and pink easterns??

I talked to a man today in Crewe Va.who said that back in the day(50' or 60's)there was a small population of eastern kings in Chesapeake Va. that were black and pink.Has anyone heard of this??He claims to be one of the first people in the U.S.to breed boa constrictors in this contry also. Jeff
