one of my females was laying almost completely up side down when i checked on her. the temps were dropped on 10-15 and she only had a male in with her so far and only one time and i DIDN'T SEE any copulations. Whats going on? She is in deep shed if that matters. Thanks

one of my females just did the same thing after breeding and ive never seen her do it b4 so keep on breeding and watching

Although, in females, it's considered a sign that she is gravid, truth is both sexes do this for different reasons. Over a heat source it's for warming another part of their body. At other times, as in shortly after eating, it may just be rearranging the meal into a more comfortable position. It could even be an effort to loosen the about to be shed skin to work loose. I've seen mine do all of these. I may be making more out of this than there is, but there are different reasons for that action. JMO.

I notice it every year when my Females start to develop folicules, most of mine do it before a male is even introduced. If she is on the cooler side or near her water dish and she hasnt eaten in a little while , since you have cooled her i think it may be safe to say that she could be developing folicules. Do you know how to check for them? As they grow it gets easier and easier keep checking her every week, after awhile your hands get use to it and you can feel them when they are the size of a pea!!!
