Humid hide location?

vtec Nov 07, 2006 08:14 PM

Where in my enclosure should I put the humid hide? Should it be on top of the headpad or just anywhere on the warm end of the tank?

In one of my setups I have it in the corner, not directly on the headpad, and they all love to be in there -- it's not very warm in there either when I feel the substrate. Are they still getting humidity?

In my other enclosure, I have the humid hide right on top of the heatpad and a lot of condensation forms in it but I have never seen him go in there.

I put mine about half way on the heat strip. That's just me though. I'm SURE someone else will do something different. If you put them directly on top then you have to mist it alot more. Not that it is wrong....I'm just lazy

Does anyone else have any feedback for me?
