first introduction, how long?

johnavilla Nov 08, 2006 09:32 AM

I posted below about a female that isn't quite up to weight and was told that after being introduced to a male she might bulk up fairly quickly. How long should the first introduction be? Over night? Three days?

I usually go for three days - then take him out. When I put him back in with her again depends on how many girls I have him scheduled to cycle through and how many copulations I actually see.

I don't know if this is the "right" thing to do - but it seems to have worked for me.

They are curled up together in a hide and the female hates me and all other life on this planet. Should I peak?

No point in peaking right now. It is very early and you should have many other chances of peaking coming up. Chances are if they are both in the hide all curled up they are probably not copulating. Be patient and I am sure you will see a lock up soon enough

that is exactly what I see.
