can you house a pair of adults jacs together?
lookign to get a pair for my teacher can i house them together if so what size cage for them.

I don't recommend it. Some people with large cages have said it works....but I still won't do it.

In the wild if they meet and they don't want to be near each other they have lots of space to move to another location to avoid each other...but in captivity, they live in too small an area.

With Jackson's, the female is almost always gravid (pregnant) since she carries the babies for about half a year...so generally she doesn't want to be around the male during that time. Its stressful....and stress affects the immune system. The male is stressed by this too because she is constantly warning him to stay away.
