Oh yeah!! NERD was at the Chicago expo...those guys are simply amazing. I wouldn't mind getting a few of those albino spiders.

Yeah! Those things will fatten up your Eastern Kings in no time flat!

Hey, I did look at them, alright!?
But I love my reds & oranges, and YOUR goinis are what's AWESOME! I love the even-speckling that some of your adults have.
Sorry I will (still) NOT convert to the "dark-side"!

Pretty but about the most boring animal I have ever seen.
I used to get these in lots of 1000 for $3 a piece not to long ago. I think it was in 93-95. Then some idiot started advertising them in the Atlanta paper with names like clown ect. He thought he would create more interest in a snake I sold for $20. I thought he was the clown and luaghed my a$$ off. I am not laughing any longer.
Of all the snakes out there I dislike these for two reasons. They seem dumb (which make me seem dumber) and I dropped the ball (literally).
I still think a real nice normal Ball is about as good as they get. I certainly do remember days when you would see all dark or aberrant balls all the time that were passed over as being less desirable than a normal. The only thing I do admire about the morphs is that they do all originate from selective breeding, not hybrid cross. You have to also understand the natural range is so much larger than, by comparison, a Brooks kingsnake range, there is a lot more potential for diversity. It would be normal to uncover little things with so many to pick from to develop new morphs. Balls are boring though, you gotta admit that. I think of that as a kids snake.
