Hi,

Although my house smells of puppy, due to our recent addition to the family, I do notice a distinct 'reptile smell' in the room where Khan lives.

It even smells the same after I clean out his viv and give him his weekly soak.

I suppose all animals have their own smell.

My dragons have a slight smell as well. I don't mind it at all. What I can't stand is the smell of dirty crickets!!! YUCK!!! That is soooooooooooooo gross. I clean my crickets every few days now. I only give them dry food, and oranges, and fresh fruit for a drink. Usually they finish it off, but any leftovers I pitch. I think the smell of the dragons and my leos is slightly sweet, but not in a good way, but it isn't bad since I clean the dragons everyday and the leos as often as needed. You can also try Vita Sand if you can find it. That is what the breeders recommended to me since it is really fine. I noticed that when I use that the smell is not there because the sand smells kind of like vitamins. Good Luck!!
