>>What is the average adult size of Ball Pythons?
females tend to be about 5', males about 4'.
>>What percentage of Ball Pythons exceed 5'?
about as many as don't. a lot of females can and often do exceed five feet, especially with proper care, but most males don't go over 4, so it balances out. a lot depends on care and genetics.
>>What is the largest Ball Python you know about, length and weight?
i believe the record is somewhere in the neighborhood of 7', and i've heard of some balls being 11 or 12 lbs, but that's the exception, not the rule. most balls that i've seen in person have been smaller than my female, who's about 5' and about 7 pounds.

>>If you can also provide some information as to your background experience, that would be helpful.
hi, i'm jenny, and i've had my female ball python Cindy since i was five years old (that's almost 15 years, for the record). i've recently started acquiring more balls and i'm actually breeding her this year. i've rescued an adult male and purchased a baby female in the last few months. at this time i'm a sophomore in college and also the reptile specialist at my local petco.
hope that helps!
