Reptile Article

Hey everyone, check out my article that was published this month in Reptiles Mag. It's in the Into the Wild segment. My original article was about twice as long, but they really edited down to fit their space. I wrote about catching a dog-tame San Diego Gopher on the Ahmanson Ranch, but unfortunately they edited that part out. That's a pity, because Pits are my true reptile love. By the way, I look way younger and thinner in real life than in the pictures that they put in the article (LOL).

Just read the article last night. I'm gonna have check out Ahmanson. I've lived out here for years and I don't even know where it is. I live here in the SFV (Chatsworth), and we've got a few pretty good herping spots out our way. Borrego's great from spring to summer to late fall. Great article, and glad you gave the San Fernando Valley a little publicity on the herp scene.

You can enter the Ahmanson Ranch at the eastern end of Vanowen. There's another entrance somewhere off Pratt (on the east side of Pratt). Let me know if you ever go there.
