shipping?

I am giving my niece one of my baby dragons for her birthday. I am in south Texas and I will be sending it to her in Maryland. I will be sending it overnight shipping, of course. It looks like the lows there will be in the mid 30's. I will be using a box that a dragon was shipped to me in so I have that covered. My question is, are the mid 30's too cold to ship? Also, what kind of heat pack should I use? Any advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated!

The 30's is not too cold to ship, but it does require a well insulated box and a heat pack. For coldest weather shipments we use 60 hour "Heat Source" heat packs from RLD Enterprises. Sounds like she is lucky to have an uncle like you!

Thanks so much for the info! Not that it matters, but I am her AUNT I can't wait to send it to her.

Then she is twice as lucky to have an aunt that is interested in reptiles and can serve as a great role model! Have a great weekend!!
